Well I did post a cat picture so 🤷‍♂️ anyway here's what happens when you take the data from the three different filters (5x of each) stack them (so 5->1 in this case) and then map them to colors. In this instance I'm using a variant of the Hubble Palette. This is calibrated data, with noise and artifacts that would be removed in proper processing (i.e. after more data has been collected) but it gives an idea of the sort of things you can see even in shorter spans of time. Longer is better though!

The first Eurovision semi-final is now now, you can see it on YouTube right now in NZ.

Just did a quick walk to the shops. Looked nice when I left the house, so thought nothing of it. Halfway there, I realised "just a t-shirt" was the WRONG clothing choice.

I'm back now, & pondering if there's any glass that needs cutting, as I currently seem to have the equipment. 🥶

Pleased with that flash of inspiration

This. First time in front of Solaris in 1995, then onwards to Linux, Mac and Linux again and most of the basics from back then are still all valid.

I am amazed that Unix knowledge I acquired in my college days still carries me thru in various jobs. I've changed so many languages and frameworks over the years, they become obsolete or not in demand, but knowledge of Linux is still crucial.

May we all find this level of snuggly and purring happiness this week.

Lol - okay, so it looks like (once again) - I've had a different word to most of you 😂

Trust me, you missed a corker of a subtweet-esque game 😉

Feeling mainly great about that interaction (I can cope with people "d'uh"ing me when I'm actually learning something that I thought was accurate was a complete fabrication).

But then... But then... they started talking about how the earth was flat, the atmosphere is a lie, space isn't actually a vaccuum, and now I'm just sad.

I replied to a question on a public post on the birdsite with what I thought was accurate info.

Turns out, I was wrong. Rockets appear to follow a parabola curve not because the Earth rotates away from their launch site underneath them (as I swore I had learned), but they do actually angle them sideways.

I was pleased. I learned something new.

Someone did a proper birdsite schooling reply which made me do the research, but I was ok with that. I thanked them &agreed they were right I was wrong

I loved this one. 😂 IYKYK. 😂😂

Please don't say anything if you do know. Your subtle hints are never as subtle as you think.

I always forget how long it takes to actually update my CV. I always assume it's gonna be like an hour, or two _tops_.

Just put it away again after 7 hours, and I haven't yet actually got a workable document.

If I've got an item being sent to me from overseas, and I've got a tracking number for it, but it was last updated over a week ago as being at the outbound airport... How do I find out where it is now?

My throat is sore again. Cough returning. Tiredness creeping in again.

Is this a kick in the tail of the last illness? Is this a new dose? Is this the start of my first experience with the spicy cough?

Who knows? But who has two thumbs and is over thinking things?

Back into the four groove it seems ...

For any trans people who need to hear this:

Your body is beautiful. You're worthy of being desired, if that's something you want.

Whether you choose to transition (and in whatever direction you want), and wherever you are in that process -- you're seen, you are believed, and I'm proud to be your sibling.

When you look in the mirror, you deserve to hear, "Hey, Beautiful." If you don't hear it in your voice, hear it in mine.

Your strength is incredible. You come from a long tradition of transgender people, stretching back to the earliest days of humanity.

Let the haters shout into the void. You don't need to. The Void already loves you. ✨
