So, is just a very bad updating of The Stepford Wives?

@AlexW haven’t seen Stepford Wives, but I was hooked by last episode of the season of Severance. Started off weird, but ended up intriguing and engaging.

@LisSmith I feel like I am really, really, really getting old because all these shows all seem familiar (done before).

I'm not sure I'll watch any more, and try something else tonight. I want to watch CODA.

@AlexW I’m only vaguely familiar with Stepford Wives but it didn’t spring to mind. I thought Severance was quite an engaging story. I’m looking forward to season 2.

@robert_p_king It seems very popular which is why I gave it a couple of episodes. But, to be honest, I was bored out of my tiny mind.

But there you go, I'm probably in the minority. 😜

@AlexW ahh, the first couple of episodes are a bit slow but it gets a lot better from there.

@robert_p_king I've added it to the list to watch some more. I'll give it a go.

@AlexW I thought it got better and better as the dots were connected. I also thought it did a masterful job of making me care about characters I initially found unlikable.

@jcarr It sounds like 2 episodes weren't enough, and I'll definitely give it another go.

Thanks, Jim.

@AlexW I hope you like it, but even if you don't, I'd like to hear your thoughts. Always interesting to get a different take.

@jcarr It's on the list to revisit. Last night we watched FINCH with Tom Hanks and enjoyed it.Straight forward, uncomplicated, and (for a dystopian movie) uplifting.

@AlexW Ah, now the roles are reversed. I started watching Finch, and just couldn't get into it. I pledge to revisit it. 🙂

@jcarr Isn't that always the way. Thankfully we all find something we like to watch.

Different tastes.
